RETURNS & WARRANTY
For your specific model bicycle, please consult your owner’s manual or contact us or an authorised dealer for the applicable warranty. The guarantee of parts and accessories is held with the manufacturer and not Insurance Bikes Australia.
All goods supplied by Insurance Bikes Australia are covered by the normal manufacturer’s warranty. If an item has failed, and you believe it to be a genuine claim for warranty, please contact us immediately. If it is found that the claim is genuine, and is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, you will be given a Return Authorisation Number.
Certain products may need to be returned to the manufacturer/distributor for a warranty inspection before a course of action can be decided. In some cases, depending on the type of product and the fault at hand, a repair will be made rather than the product being replaced. Please do not assume that your product will be replaced. We will endeavour to return your product as quickly as possible. If there is a delay due to the nature of the repair, or a delay beyond our control, we will inform you and do whatever possible to limit the turnaround time of your product. Please bear in mind that the warranty procedures vary from brand to brand, and from distributor to distributor.
For more information on the warranty aspects of your product, please visit that manufacturer’s website. Due to health and safety regulations, we request all used clothing to be washed prior to returning back to us and used footwear must also be cleaned.
All goods must be returned to the following address: Insurance Bikes Australia – Office 2, 25-35 The Kingsway, Cronulla NSW 2230. The Return Authorisation Number must be clearly written on the outside of the box. Insurance Bikes Australia does not cover the cost of warranty returns. We strongly suggest using a parcel service that is trackable and requires a signature on delivery. Insurance Bikes Australia will not be held liable for any goods lost in transit.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper assembly
- Improper follow-up maintenance
- Installation of components, parts or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as provided
- Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse or neglect
- Labour charges for part replacement or changeover
Please note:
- Insurance Bikes Australia will not be held responsible if there is a delay in delivery.
- Customers will be responsible for the return shipping and handling charge.
- You need to send the original or a copy of receipt with your order.
- In the event that your product is lost in transit, Insurance Bikes Australia will not be held liable and therefore recommends that you send all returns via Registered Post.
- IBA will confirm once the item has been received and the warranty application has been lodged.
